one month

Today we celebrate what is our first of anniversaries. Just this weekend some one posted pictures from the wedding, and we rushed to the computer to see them. And we couldn’t help by smile when watching the home videos that were captured. It’s a sense of nostalgia that I hope never ends.

So how to celebrate? When we were on our honeymoon, we both came to the realization that eating out and finding new restaurants, shouldn’t be something you do when you are only on vacation. You should explore within where you live as well. We recently decided, that we would celebrate each anniversary in this first year by choosing a restaurant for us to celebrate at.

I picked first and then we will alternate for the upcoming dates. We are going here tonight, and I even plan to wear make up.

Truth. Beyonce was played at our ceremony.

After seeing this performed at the VMA’s I instantly fell in love (even before she revealed the bump), and thought how can we incorporate it into the wedding? Enter recessional. We ushered all of our guests out of the church, and this song played proudly after Joe Cocker and Ray Lamontagne.

I thought Matt would have for sure veteod it when I put the playlist together of songs, but he embraced and we both did a little shimmy when he heard it play in the church.

is it normal?

That it takes 8 weeks to get your photos back from the photographer? I’m starting to get real jealous of people posting their wedding pictures…

It’s okay though, it’s the worth the wait. Until then I just keep harrasing my friends who had cameras with them.

On the flip side, video might be ready next week!
